Welcome to the Santa Rosa County Explorer Post 483 Website!

The Santa Rosa County Explorer Program is a chartered youth program through the Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office and the Learning for Life Organization.  The Program's purpose is to provide young men and women of the community with the opportunity to gain valuable insight into Law Enforcement.  The Explorer Program is designed not only to stimulate interest in Law Enforcement as a career, but to instill within its members a genuine desire to demonstrate responsible work habits, positive attitudes towards other citizens, and practice as contributing members of society.

If you are a young adult between the ages of 15 (14 if completed the 8th grade) and 21, you can join Explorer Post 483!  Learn what it is like to be in Law Enforcement.  You don't have to have the desire to be a Police Officer, just the curiosity of what it's like and to have some fun.  Check out the meeting section for dates and times of the meeting and events.
