Explorer Post 483 is starting "NEW" for the year of 2007!!!

Starting in January 2007, the Youth Members of the Explorer Post will be electing their own "Youth Leaders!"

Every six (6) months, the Post will conduct an election for the Youth Leadership.  The current positions are:

      1.  Captain (1),
      2.  Lieutenant (1), and
      3.  Sergeant (2)

The positions of rank do not signify a permanent position, rather they indicate the duties and responsibilities of the member holding that rank. All members have the right to run for one of the elected position.  It is their responsibility to prove to the other members that they can successfully function as a leader in the Post.  A member may hold a position for as long as he/she can be re-elected by his/her peers.
